I love the small city of Tepic because of the beautiful surroundings. Being an explorer, I set out on my tour on the very day I reached Tepic. There are several attractions for visitors who would like to explore this amazing part of Mexico. It offers a natural green look. Vibrant parks, ancient museums, great waterfalls, tranquil lake, and natural lakes, there are loads to check out. Take a look at the few things you can do when you are in Tepic.
It is a contemporary cultural and scientific complex that has modern facilities. Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela, the Valencian and Spanish architect, respectively designed this building. The largest aquarium of Europe Oceanographic is to be found here. Three festivals take place over here, Exposicion Del Ninots, de Les Artes, and Las Fallas. I found a tropical garden and took some photos there.
It is a forest trail outside Tepic. On the trail, you will get a view of the agricultural land and pine-oak trees. For the first few kilometers, the path is quite hard to work. However, as you further into the hill, it will become better. Forests birds and country is pretty common in this area. You will find House Finch, Pine Siskin, Greater Pewee, Spotted Wren, Flame-colored Tanagers, etc.
It is an ancient structure which had been developed in the 17th and 18th centuries. There is a huge collection in the museum which includes Tumbas de Tiro, pre-Hispanic artifacts belonging to a western culture, Aztatlan, Uranus Mololoa, and cultures of Concheros. I found a theater, antique books. You can be a part of the poetry recital, dance, theatre, and lectures. The building also has a courtyard, a wonderful fountain, and a baroque gate.
